Our Accommodation
Situated directly on the lagoon, with daily visits from elephants and other wildlife, game drives become optional. You can simply sit back, relax with a book, and let the animals come to you.
Njobvu Platform.
Njobvu means “elephant” in the language of the Chewa people.
The Njobvu platform is our largest accommodation, specially designed for enjoying the bush with friends and family, all on the same platform. It comprises two exceptionally spacious luxury tents, a comfortable lounge, a dining area, and a hot tub for enjoying refreshing drinks together. Njobvu is designed to provide you with the opportunity to savour the tranquility of the bush alongside your favourite people. It’s the perfect retreat for small groups looking to experience the bush together, accommodating 4 to 8 guests.
We also have a central pool area and dining platform for relaxation with a direct view of the lagoon. There’s a high probability of observing elephants as they search for special seeds while you enjoy a drink in the infinity pool.
Chimbwete and Mimbulu tents.
At these two tents we offer a more intimate accommodation, perfect for couples. Our tents are situated individually on their own platforms, offering direct views of the confluence of the Masandile River and the mighty Luangwa River. These spacious tents feature outdoor showers and bathrooms, elegantly decorated in a classic safari design, to give your a unique Hemingway-esque experience.
The names of the tents follow the local ChiChewa language: Chimbwete means Zebra, Mimbulu is the word for Wild Dog.
